A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Fixed Assets Senior Analyst, you will assist the Fixed Assets Team Lead with daily operations, focusing on process management, KPI monitoring, and internal controls. Your responsibilities include resolving accounting issues, analyzing errors, and driving process improvements. You will manage daily transactions and month-end closing activities, ensuring compliance with IFRS and local GAAP standards. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders is essential, as you will address complex operational issues and share best practices. Your experience will support the team and provide guidance to Fixed Assets Analysts, while you proactively propose initiatives and suggest improvements.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Month-end closing of Fixed Assets scope for allocated entities, including depreciation of Fixed assets and reconcile against expense accounts, reconciliation of Subledger vs General Ledger for all Fixed Assets Account groups, process stock taking adjustments, solve or propose a solution for FA related issues for the FA stock taking, process impairment or reversal of impairment according to requests
- Review leases applicable for IFRS16 and reconcile against LARS,
- Lead and participate in cross-functions ad hoc projects and tasks assigned. Where applicable, identify or propose improvements for fixed asset processes.
- Provide support to FA analysts for budget allocation or adhoc requests for Assets Under Construction, Internal orders or WBS element creation issues according to CAPEX requests
- Perform intercompany and intracompany asset transfers
- Supervise AUC and the capitalization of assets.
What You Bring
- Good MS-Office skills (especially in MS-Excel) , good understanding of business processes in SAP
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, minimum 3 years of proven experience in Accounting & Finance Operations, Fixed Assets accounting and IFRS and local GAAP knowledge is preferable
- Experience in transitions and transformation projects is an advantage. Willingness to travel for knowledge transfer, training/workshops, if needed
- You are open and communicative in nature as well as fluent English skills complete your profile.
