A Snapshot of Your Day
As part of our highly motivated and international project team, you would work on either Power Generation, HVDC transmission, HV Substation and/or FACTS projects, helping us to take big steps together towards decarbonization and stability of the high-voltage grid! Working with a variety of clients, such as developers or transmission system operators, in different countries, you will be able to expand your expertise and intercultural skills and make a meaningful contribution to the energy transition!
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Support Lead Engineers in executing the electrical engineering scope of projects, ensuring compliance with customer contracts and specifications.
- Collaborate with the Project Engineering Manager, General Project Management, and key stakeholders to drive project execution.
- Oversee internal and external suppliers, managing electrical, I&C, and layout interfaces to ensure alignment and quality.
- Assist in tracking engineering progress, addressing technical clarifications, and identifying risks, opportunities, or claims.
- Drive the electrical design process, including concept development, technical specification preparation, and Bill of Quantities (BoQs).
- Support installation and commissioning activities, address site issues, ensure EHS compliance, and help reduce non-conformance costs (NCCs).
What You Bring
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, energy management or related fields
- +1 years’ Experience in power systems electrical engineering. Advanced education can be substituted for experience.
- Knowledge in Electrical Power Systems, Motor Control Centers, MV and LV Switchgears, Transformers, Converters, Rectifiers Single Line and Three Line Diagrams etc is preferred.
- Experience with the design of NEC/IEEE Cables, Cable Routing, Duct banks, Cable Trays etc. is preferred.
- Experience in project management and/or managing of intercultural teams.
- Advanced English language skills, Spanish language skills are an advantage.
