Über die Aufgabe
- Lead and manage a team of 15 to 20 HVDC Control & Protection project leads, driving resource planning, performance management, and professional development.
- Align team development with market and customer demands to ensure readiness for global projects and adherence to cost, time, and quality standards.
- Streamline the software engineering process, from requirements gathering to testing, improving project execution timelines and efficiency.
- Develop and implement a team roadmap to improve operational efficiency and ensure the seamless execution of multiple projects in parallel.
- Support project leads in achieving key goals, including on-time delivery, high quality, customer satisfaction, and budget compliance, while coordinating and assist project leads during discussions about new requirements, feature development, offer calculations, and optimization.
- Coordinate the onboarding and training of employees from global hubs and Centers of Competence (CoCs).
- A university degree in electrical engineering; a Master's or PhD in HVDC controls, AC/DC power systems, power electronics, or wind power converters is an advantage.
- Proven leadership experience or project management expertise, with a strong focus on control and protection systems.
- Several years of hands-on experience in engineering or commissioning of Control and Protection systems for large industrial converter applications, such as HVDC or similar electrical converter systems.
- Strong leadership skills combined with excellent teamwork, initiative, and a customer focused mindset.
- Willingness to travel for business purposes.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
