A Snapshot of Your Day
The Corporate Fleet Manager is responsible for the management and optimization of the company's vehicle fleet. This role ensures the efficient, safe, and cost-effective operation of all fleet vehicles while meeting the needs of various departments and adhering to all applicable regulations. The Fleet Manager will also be responsible for developing and implementing a long-term fleet strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Perform continuous assessments of the fleet to identify optimization opportunities and areas needing enhancement
- Proactively plan for future fleet requirements considering business growth, operational needs, and emerging technologies
- Manage the disposal of vehicles efficiently and cost-effectively, adhering to asset turnover schedules
- Coordinate all facets of vehicle upkeep, ensuring adherence to preventive maintenance programs and managing repairs and tire maintenance
- Establish thorough safety initiatives that include driver education, safety evaluations, and procedures for investigating incidents
- Maintain strict adherence to all pertinent safety standards, monitor driver conduct, and preemptively address safety issues
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred
- Professional experience in fleet management, with increasing responsibility
- Proven experience in managing a diverse fleet of vehicles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and fleet management software
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Business fluent in German and English
