A Snapshot of Your Day
Electrification - Automation - Digitalization (EAD) is in search of a Service-Projects manager for our existing and future long-term service contracts.
This role will be a very exciting role which will require someone who is able and willing to support a variety of different activities and responsibilities in a fast-paced growing environment! Responsibilities include logistics support for material and people, parts ordering, documentation support, billing creation for approvals, invoicing support, resolving competing objectives for positive outcome, and overall commercial responsibility for revenue forecasting of the orders that you'll manage.
The successful candidate will have a background in supporting engineers, project managers and field service engineers in an industrial engineering type environment. The selected candidate will also have strong multitasking skills, ability to learn and be an independent worker able to manage their assignments with minimal supervision.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Scheduling of engineers for ongoing jobs that you are coordinating in conjunction with the technical lead engineer for the project
- Part Ordering, Expediting, and Logistics Support
- Customer interaction in facets of order execution as needed – verbal & written
- Raise issues to management for resolution on orders billing and costing
- Engineering Documentation Support obtaining timesheets, expenses, reports, specification documents and other related items
- Billing and Invoicing, Service Time Tracking, revenue forecasting
What You Bring
- Bachelor's Degree (Business Degree or related field is preferred), or equivalent experience
- 2-5 years of experience in technical work support related field
- Demonstrated skills in for profit business principles; Familiarity with jobs in a time and material basis.
- Strong organization and excellent time management.
- SAP experience, an aptitude for technical knowledge and principals, and familiarity with computerized data display and controls preferred
- Salesforce experience preferred
