How You’ll Make an Impact

1. Technical Analysis and Troubleshooting:
  • Conduct detailed technical analysis and troubleshooting of gas turbines, utilizing your extensive experience with Siemens, Alstom, MHI, or GE turbines.
  • Diagnose and resolve operational issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance of the turbines.
2. Operation and Commissioning:
  • Oversee the operation and commissioning of gas turbines, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with commissioning teams to ensure smooth and efficient start-up processes.
3. Maintenance and Repair:
  • Perform mechanical maintenance activities on power generation equipment, particularly gas turbines, in both power plant and Oil & Gas industry settings.
  • Execute hands-on maintenance tasks under time constraints and challenging conditions, ensuring high standards of quality and safety.
4. Technical Documentation:
  • Utilize technical documentation to guide maintenance and troubleshooting activities.
  • Ensure all technical documentation is up-to-date and accurately reflects the current status of the equipment.
5. Digital Literacy and IT Applications:
  • Confidently use relevant IT applications, including Microsoft Office, to document findings, prepare reports, and communicate with stakeholders.
  • Leverage additional IT competencies to enhance maintenance and troubleshooting processes.
6. Industry Standards and Compliance:
  • Ensure all activities comply with relevant industry standards for Quality and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE).
  • Stay updated on industry standards and best practices to continuously improve maintenance and operational processes.
7. Problem Solving and Innovation:
  • Proactively identify and solve problems, taking initiative to improve the status quo.
  • Apply strong analytical skills and a proactive attitude to drive innovation in service delivery.
8. Team Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work collaboratively with international teams, demonstrating resilience and the ability to work independently under pressure.
  • Communicate effectively in English, both written and oral, with proficiency in additional languages being beneficial.
What You Bring

• Bachelor/ master's in mechanical engineering, with a minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in the relevant field of work.
• Operation and commissioning Experience in siemens/Alstom/MHI/GE turbines.
• General profound understanding of technical equipment and ability to work with/based on technical documentation
• Good general skills in mechanical maintenance activities of power generation equipment or in the Oil & Gas industry and willingness to continuously work hands-on under time pressure and in difficult conditions.
• Digital literacy, confident user of relevant IT-applications (Microsoft Office), additional IT-competence will be beneficial.
• Experience in power plant operations and/or Oil & Gas operations and/ or specific Siemens Gas or Steam turbine operations and maintenance know-how is an advantage.
• Pro-active, problem solving and ready to work attitude, readiness to take additional tasks to improve the statusQuo if needed,
• Understanding of relevant industry standards for Quality and HSE
• Fluent in English Language (Written & Oral), other languages are beneficial
• Strong analytical skills with an affinity to technology and innovation in the service industry combined with a proactive and convincing attitude
• Team player with high level of resilience, the ability to work independently under pressure, multitask and focus on problem solving in a complex environment collaborating with international teams
• Willing to extensively travel domestic/ internationally (up to 75%) on short notice and work flexible hours
