Commercial Sales Manager for Siemens Energy Maritime in Trondheim!
We are seeking a highly motivated and driven Commercial Sales Manager for our growing EAD Maritime business in the Nordics.
You will work together with our Sales & Bid organization, managing all commercial and financial aspects throughout the entire Sales & Bid process and support the Maritime Sales Group Manager to define the overall team and Sales strategy for the Maritime business in Nordics.

In this role, you'll drive the full scope of financial and commercial activities during the sales phase, from analyzing tender requirements and mitigating risks to drafting bids and shaping the commercial offer strategy with the bidding team. You'll define the business model, guide regional colleagues, and ensure transparent calculations. Your goal will be to manage financial results, optimize gross profit, cash flow, and assets, making a significant impact on our success.
Additional duties and responsibilities
- Support the Sales Group Manager in the overall team and Sales strategy for the Maritime business in Nordics with focus on the commercial aspects
- Manage relationships with external and internal project stakeholders and functions
- Own the negotiation of commercial terms and conditions as well as consortium contracts in coordination with relevant departments (legal, insurance, guarantee, financing, customs, etc.)
- Support the Sales & Bid team in identifying, evaluating, and assessing risks & opportunities.
- Analyze lessons learned and help to increase the calculation accuracy of our bids through early involvement.
- Prepare, present, and obtain commercial Sales & Bid approvals in respective quality gates.
What You Bring
- Higher education in finance/ business administration/ accounting or another relevant field in the financial environment.
- 5+ years of professional experience in a relevant finance or legal field, ideally experience as Commercial Sales Manager or Contract Manager.
- Proficiency in understanding contractual terms and regulations and experience in contract negotiations.
- Cross-functional and cross-organizational approach, ability to connect with people at all levels and integrate different perspectives.
- High degree of curiosity, resilience and motivation to work in a dynamic business and team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English as well as ability to present your results to management; Norwegian language skills considered a plus.
