The O&M Advisor (HRSG Expert) will own the HRSG installations in O&M project inside Iraq and potentially in the middle east region. He will also be required to work as resident engineer in some O&M project to further accelerate technical growth and development while enriching customer management skills.
How You Will Make an Impact
- Develop HRSG inspection plan according to contract
- Preparation of HRSG inspections
- Carrying out inspections (leading a team of NDT inspectors on site)
- Documentation of findings and preparation of inspection reports with maintenance and repair recommendations
- Statistical evaluation of the findings at all HRSGs
- Participation in the qualification and selection of suppliers
- Lead multi-functional teams in execution of Root Cause Analysis
- Carry out field inspections, measurements and walkdowns, to assess Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG) pressure parts and relevant equipment
- Maintain and improve HRSG performance, reduce O&M costs, and increase reliability by procedures revisions and design change requests (DCR)
- Coordinate with Vendors/Contractors for HRSG related topics
- Participate in planning scope of work during Scheduled Outages related to HRSG
- Cooperate with customer power plant personnel to understand O&M practices and how it affects HRSG
What You Bring
- B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering, or energy technology/process engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the design, construction, operation and maintenance of HRSGs.
- Valves Expertise
- HRSG Level I and level II Inspection expertise.
- Borescope Inspector
- Non-Destructive Test (NDT) Inspector
- Knowledge of welding processes
- Experience in plant construction and commissioning of CCPP is an advantage
- Experience in working with interdisciplinary and international teams
- Knowledge of project management and project handling
- Excellent command of English language
- Initiative, quality oriented, ability to work in a team, communication and social skills
- Analytic, critical thinking, high learning curve
