A Snapshot of Your Day

We are seeking (Senior) Energy Transformation Consultants. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing energy transformation projects as part of Siemens Energy’s Grid Consulting service. You will coordinate and manage studies, business case and techno-economic analyses, and proof-of-concept initiatives for energy system operators, industrial and commercial enterprises, and energy asset developers.

You will lead business transformation projects and organizational change initiatives across the industry. Building and maintaining customer relationships will be a key part of your daily responsibilities. A significant portion of your work will involve coordinating external partners and sub-suppliers, as well as generating new business opportunities. Representing the company in grid-related standardization committees, working groups, workshops, and conferences will round off your day.


How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Supporting utilities, energy regulators, developers and investors to gain technical and financial insights
  • Developing energy decarbonization and digitalization strategies and roadmaps for clients around the world
  • Carrying out business development activities by presenting the service capabilities to existing and prospective clients
  • Strengthening and growing client relationships worldwide
  • Cooperating with internal teams and external partners to ensure high quality project outputs


What You Bring

  • University degree in engineering, business, economics, or relevant; PhD or MBA considered an advantage
  • 3 or more years of professional experience in consulting. Candidates with more experience can be considered for a higher level or vice-versa
  • Expertise in one more of the following fields: Energy system decarbonization, renewable energy and storage technologies, power utilities, industrial decarbonization, power system digitalization, energy system modeling, and business transformation consulting
  • Relevant experience working and communicating with utilities, regulators, investors, municipalities, and developers
  • Ability to foster creativity, teamwork, customer orientation and diversity in your work environment; Strong skills in the field of organization, strategic thinking, training, executive level communication and problem solving
  • Flexibility to travel as needed, up to 40%

This job may be based in various locations. Siemens Energy offers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay. The base salary range for this position is $90,000-$170,000 and the annual incentive target is 10% of base salary. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, certifications, and other business needs. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual’s qualifications.
