A Snapshot of Your Day 

As a member of the Control & Protection (C&P) Platform Team, you design and implement Process Visualization software (Human Machine Interface - HMI) to enable and support HVDC and FACTS project execution. You provide support to the engineering processes, functional and dynamic performance tests (FPT/DPT), and factory acceptance tests (FAT). You are responsible for analyzing technical issues and providing solutions in cooperation with the team’s technical experts.


How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Implement Zenon and WinCC OA HMI features for framework and customer projects.
  • Design and implement HMI Typical objects: mapping with a Plant Data Model
  • Continuously deepen your expertise about Siemens Energy HVDC and FACTS Control & Protection systems to enhance solution quality.
  • Work closely with customer project execution teams, offering hands-on support.
  • Use C&P software components, communication protocols, and diagnostic tools to identify and resolve system issues.
  • Work alongside platform technical experts to troubleshoot challenges and propose practical improvements to project workflows.


What You Bring
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Long-lasting experience with Human Machine Interface Software (e.g. Zenon, WinCC OA) and with Control Script / C# / JS
  • Proficiency in Linux and Windows OS on GUI and CLI
  • Familiarity with communication protocols such as IEC61850 (IEC104, OPC), ideally experience with GIT version control development / CICD deployment tooling
  • Basic domain knowledge of HVDC (HGÜ) and FACTS station types
  • Fluency both in English and German
