How You’ll Make an Impact
- Analyze existing exhaust geometries to pinpoint areas for improvement and innovation.
- Develop new design concepts that enhance functionality and durability under various thermal and mechanical conditions.
- Utilize advanced simulation tools to test and optimize your designs, ensuring robust solutions that perform well across a range of scenarios.
- Collaborate closely with engineers specializing in design, structural analysis, cooling, and materials science to refine your concepts.
- Present your findings to the project team and stakeholders, showcasing your contributions to the project’s success.
What You Bring
- Ongoing master’s studies in mechanical engineering, with a focus on design engineering.
- Proficiency in CAD and simulation tools, enabling you to bring your designs to life.
- Strong analytical skills to tackle complex problems and develop innovative solutions.
- Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English, allowing you to effectively share your ideas.
- A collaborative spirit, capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
About the Team
Our department consists of about 100 people, of which 20 engineers work in turbine stator design team. The turbine group is an integral part of the component organization within gas turbine development, and we are responsible for designing and developing turbine components for our gas turbines, including SGT-600, -700, -750 and SGT-800.
