A Snapshot of Your Day
The Logistic and Parts Coordinator serves as focal point for optimal material and spares coordination for the assigned sites. One of its primary functions is to conduct yearly inventory count and analyze variances leading to final reconciliation for the wind farms assigned. The role works in constant collaboration with site management, project management, order management, finance, and other materials managers by coordinating system and process flow.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Performs required cycle counts for assigned sites and analyzes inventory variances using SAP transactions, physical inspection, other supporting systems and documentation.
- Resolve materials transactions issues in SRP (COGI, PO errors, Consumption errors, Goods Receipts, etc.)
- Supports with SRP/logistics administrative functions required for returns process and transfers between sites.
- Follow up Goods receipt over dues for the assigned sites.
- NCR creation as required.
- Manage material movements within area of responsibility.
What You Bring
- Strong Microsoft office skills with emphasis on Excel
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to multi-task
- Candidate must be capable of operating in a warehouse environment without local supervision, while still collaborating with local staff
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork skills, including willingness and ability to consult with subject matter experts from engineering, order management and other team members.
- Capable of lifting 35 pounds and working in remote facilities that are subject to extreme climates.
- Applicants must be proficient in English.
About the Team
The Material & Inventory Control department is responsible for facilitating an optimal inventory control process for all wind farms under SGRE service portfolio, ranging from +100 sites across North America. One of its primary functions is to develop and manage the yearly inventory count schedule, adjust priorities aligned with business needs and analyze variances leading to final reconciliation for the wind farms and tangible action plans to eliminate root causes to improve subsequent inventory count accuracy.
