A Snapshot of Your Day

We deliver gas turbines to Oil & Gas and Industrial Power Generation customers. Our business concept is to create the highest customer value by addressing project drivers across various applications and configurations, leveraging our unique selling features. Investments are often substantial and involve local or international companies as owners, joint venture partners, operators, or EPC/FEED/PRE-FEED contractors. The selection of the gas turbine is critical to the overall project success, significantly impacting CAPEX, OPEX, and uptime-where reliability and availability are key factors in the production of electricity, compression, and heat.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • As FEED Manager for AGT, your primary responsibility is to support global sales during the project development phase by identifying the best Siemens Gas Turbine fit in conceptual designs, PRE-FEED, or FEED phases. The goal is to position Siemens Energy's products effectively and increase our chances of winning projects during the bidding process.
  • In addition, you will also be involved in: Pre-qualifying new or upgraded products to new or existing customers. Scanning the market for new features or new applications of our products. Being at the frontline in this competitive market means that you often are the first person to hear about a competitors technical and commercial move. Your feedback to different disciplines of the organisation such as Strategy and Research & Development is therefore essential
  • An eager manager that wants to take up the challenge and thereby actively contribute toward Siemens Energy success in a competitive market.
  • To be most effective there will be a mix of office tasks and regional and international travelling
  • With a strong support from your colleagues in the department, the management, and other resources within the company, you will be able contribute toward your own and Siemens Energy’s success.

What You Bring

  • Bachelors degree in related field or combined equivalent of educational/work background. 8+ years comprehensive experience and network in the Gas Turbine market, including Oil & Gas, Industrial Power Generation/Utility/Data Centre, and BEX sectors.
  • Strong technical expertise combined with excellent communication skills to engage effectively with various customer organization levels, including rotating equipment specialists.
  • Proficient in delivering impactful presentations at customer events, internal strategy workshops, and external industry conferences.
  • A collaborative team player internally, while externally demonstrating creativity and a solution-oriented approach to drive success!
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

About the Team

Gas Services

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.

You will be part of the global FEED organization, which covers all products within Gas Services with team members in the UK, Sweden, Canada, Spain, Thailand, and China. The department currently consists of approximately 20 people. You will report to the Director of Customer Alliances & FEED based in Sweden, who is your functional manager. There are two additional colleagues serving as FEED Managers for AGT, located in Montreal and London.
