In this role for the Grid Technology, Western Europe & Africa Department, you'll be responsible for supervising and implementing Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) standards on sites in Belgium, the Netherlands and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

What you'll be involved with:
- Assess the project's EHS requirements during bidding process. Develop the bid concerning EHS technical aspects, ensuring compliance with both Siemens Energy and Client EHS standards.
- Allocate EHS personnel/ resources to ensure successful project completion. Assist investigations in case of an incident on site.
- Coordinate and assist throughout the project by performing routine audits, creating project-specific task outlines (Risk Assessment & Method Statement), and craft detailed EHS Plans that enforce client requirements and manufacturing standards.
- Own the EHS critical metrics, ensuring the Integrated Management System follows ISO 14001/ 45001 and VCA standards.
How you'll make an impact:
- Develop, implement and supervise EHS policies and procedures, ensure their compliance during the construction, erection and commissioning phases.
- Carry out audits, assist with non-conformity analyses, participate in corrective action proposals (REX). Responsible for the team's equipment adequacy, regular maintenance and alignment with safety standards.
- Responsible for the EHS activities on sites, and prepare and revise Method Statements and Safety Plans.
- Report incidents, accidents and non-conformities, implement appropriate corrective measures.
- Suggest improvements of the business processes, enhancing efficiency.
What you bring:
- University degree with a major in EHS, and proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the energy or construction sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of EHS regulations and industry standards.
- Strong communication and training skills.
- Proficiency in French, Dutch and English to collaborate with all partners within the sub-region.
- Willingness to travel regularly across the sub-region and occasionally within Europe. Valid category B driving license.
