Join Siemens Energy’s Application Engineering team as the driving force behind technical excellence in the Asia Pacific region. You’ll lead the SGT-800 team, ensuring customer maintenance projects are delivered with precision—whether planned or unplanned. You’ll be the go-to leader for technical input in quotes, risk assessment, and for answering customer questions between overhauls. With regionalization and digitalization high on our agenda, you’ll guide a diverse group through process improvements that boost efficiency and enhance quality. Your leadership will help shape both the team’s success and the energy industry’s transformation.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Ensure every engine under your team’s scope has a dedicated Application Engineer.
• Mentor and support employees to plan overhauls with the right timing and quality.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams in Finspång and partners across the region.
• Coach and develop individuals, the group, and the management team through hands-on leadership.
• Initiate and drive process and tool improvements to achieve continuous business advancement.

What You Bring

• A technical background in Gas Turbine Engineering—Master’s in Control, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Gas Turbines or service business is highly valued.
• Passion for process improvement as a core focus area.
• Prior leadership experience, whether as a manager or in other leading roles.
• Fluent English skills: Swedish is a plus.
• A structured, driven, and open-minded mindset.

About the Team

Application Engineering is made up of six teams and about 70 employees worldwide. The S-AP team consists of 15 professionals from diverse backgrounds, including colleagues based in Budapest. We thrive on collaboration, sharing technical knowledge, and fostering an environment where solutions are discussed before decisions are made. Our internal mentorship program ensures new team members receive the support and guidance they need to succeed.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
