O roli
A Snapshot of Your Day
As Mechanical Engineer Creo Specialist, you will work in the project team to develop the technical solution according to customer requirements. This includes the entire process, starting with clarifying fundamental questions, selecting row materials, and designing mechanical parts and assemblies that would be used in critical equipment of High Voltage Switchgears.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Taking over the entire technical clarification process of customer inquiries of the product and project business for high-voltage switches/systems/devices in the field of GIS Switchgears.
- Support of internal teams with technical questions, especially with project management/order processing, sales, purchasing and PLM in the quotation as well as order processing process. Preparation of technical documentation for parts as a basis for quotations or order processing in the product business.
- Design and customized mechanical parts, assuring their feasibility to be manufactured.
- Creating complex mechanical assemblies, considering stock of tolerances, safety principles, defining tools for assembly process, and accessibility for the assembly.
- Elaboration of 3D models, drawings and specifications for new parts and assemblies, using Creo / Pro-Engineer on daily bases.
- Inverse engineering by using documentation from vintage products to design interphases/adaptations that would enable their compatibility with new product families
What You Bring
- Bachelor degree in Electrical, mechanical, electromechanical engineering or similar.
- 5+ years of professional experience in the installation, design or maintenance of high-voltage switchgear, preferably on gas-insulated switchgear (GIS) or air-insulated switchgear (AIS).
- 5+ Years of experience doing 3D models and drawings in Pro-Engineer / CREO, preferable for power products. Also 5+ years of experience in Product definition, GD&T, Stack ups, Familiar with PDM/PLM Systems.
- Experience in mechanical drawing and assembly interpretation, BOMs. Clear understanding about the application and differences of HV equipment like interrupters, disconnectors, earthing switches, etc.
