A Snapshot of Your Day
As an I&C Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the coordination, installation, and maintenance of Siemens Energy power plant control systems. Your expertise will ensure the availability and functionality of these systems at customer sites, contributing to the overall success and reliability of our projects.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Coordinate various components of Siemens Energy power plant control systems to ensure device availability and functionality at customer sites.
- Perform installations, updates, upgrades, extensions, and migrations of control technology systems both in-house and on-site.
- Analyze and resolve system malfunctions via remote access and on-site interventions to maintain system integrity.
- Develop, implement, maintain, and provide technical support for hardware and software systems supporting power plant/utilities control systems.
- Install, configure, upgrade, test, document, monitor, and maintain software and hardware to support secure operational networks in ultra-high availability environments.
- Conduct onsite service, including fault finding and administration of DCS systems, to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Complete projects on-site within the quality framework (time, budget, functionality), ensuring economic results and customer satisfaction.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in electrical, electronic, controls engineering, or computer science.
- Minimum of 3 years of project experience with S7, WinCC, PCS7, and/or T3000, and industrial communication.
- Detailed knowledge of autonomous network systems, IT/OT networks, and IT security for control systems, including routing, switching, network separation, zone concepts, and redundancy mechanisms.
- Proficiency in Linux and communication protocols such as OPC UA, Modbus, IEC61850, IEC60870, etc.
- Proven experience in the power generation control systems industry or large-scale continuous operation industrial control applications, with comprehensive knowledge from design to commissioning. Experience with Siemens T3000 DCS and/or large-scale DCSs is highly regarded.
- Proficient English, Turkish and good knowledge in German language.
Additional Information:
- A valid driving license is required.
- Ability to work in Turkey and/or abroad.
- Completion of military service (for individuals who have served in the military).
- Flexibility to travel as required by project needs.
