A Snapshot of Your Day
In the AI & Data Engineering Support role, you will assist the AI engineering team in developing, testing, and maintaining AI‑driven tools for data monitoring, documentation access, and operational insights. You will contribute to AI prototypes, data quality checks, and knowledge‑retrieval solutions that improve access to technical and operational information. Guided by senior engineers, you’ll support experiments, tooling, and automation while gaining hands‑on experience with applied AI, data engineering, and enterprise data environments in industrial and energy operations, including power plant settings.
How You’ll Make an Impact - Assist in developing and testing AI-based tools and prototypes using LLMs and Python
- Support prompt development, evaluation, and improvement for AI-assisted knowledge retrieval and summarization
- Help implement simple automation scripts for data analysis and pipeline monitoring
- Support development and testing of AI agents or AI-supported workflows under supervision
- Assist in evaluating AI outputs and documenting performance, limitations, and potential improvements
What You Bring- Analytical and structured problem-solving mind set
- Curiosity for new technologies and AI developments
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently on clearly defined tasks
- Initial experience through coursework, university projects, internships, or personal projects
- Experience with Git or collaborative development environments is beneficial
- Interest in how AI and data analytics can support engineering and industrial operations
About the Team
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
