We are seeking a motivated and hands-on individual to join our team as an entry-level Wind Farm Service Technician. As a Wind Farm Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing scheduled maintenance, conducting inspections, and assisting with the troubleshooting and repair of wind turbine systems. Working under the guidance of senior technicians, you will learn to use various tools and diagnostic equipment to ensure the safety, quality, and optimal performance of our wind farm assets. This role requires working at heights and in a variety of weather conditions as part of a dedicated team. What You Need To Make a Difference

• 60% Turbine Maintenance and Repair
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on wind turbines, including mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing malfunctions in turbine systems under the guidance of senior technicians.
  • Execute basic repairs and component replacements using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
  • Document all maintenance activities, parts usage, and observations in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
  • flexibility to travel 25% of the time or less
• 30% Safety and Compliance
  • Adhere strictly to all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) protocols, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.
  • Participate in daily safety briefings and conduct pre-task risk assessments to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Maintain and inspect personal protective equipment (PPE) and climbing gear.
  • Ensure work areas, vehicles, and tool storage are kept clean, organized, and in safe condition.
• 10% Training and Team Collaboration
• Actively participate in the provided on-the-job training and formal learning programs to develop technical proficiency.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and senior technicians to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
• Communicate work status and technical issues clearly to the site supervisor.

• OSHA 10-Hour General Industry preferred

• High School Diploma or GED
• Associate's degree or Technical Certificate in Wind Energy, or a related mechanical/electrical field preferred
• Valid Driver's License
