A Snapshot of Your Day

You start your day with a clear purpose: ensuring that every colleague returns home safe and healthy. In your morning alignment with the STG leadership team, you challenge performance on Zero Harm and reinforce a culture where safety is non-negotiable. You then lead a global session with regional EQS leaders, holding teams accountable for tangible progress on Zero Harm — driving actions, not just reporting metrics. In the afternoon, you deep-dive into quality performance, addressing audit findings with a fact-based, root-cause-driven mindset, ensuring that issues are eliminated sustainably. You actively shape cross-functional initiatives on product safety and process excellence, translating quality into measurable customer value and reduced non-conformance (NCC). Every day, you act as a visible leader, decision-maker, and change driver, embedding a culture where safety, quality, and customer trust are the foundation of everything we do across a global organization of ~4,500 employees.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Take full accountability for the global EQS strategy of STG — ensuring Zero Harm, highest quality standards, and secure operations across all regions, fully aligned with Siemens Energy’s safety ambition
  • Drive a Zero Harm culture where no compromise is accepted: proactively identify risks, eliminate hazards, and ensure that no employee or partner is exposed to unsafe conditions
  • Set the benchmark for quality excellence: embed a culture of first-time-right execution, systematic root-cause elimination, and continuous improvement to sustainably reduce NCC and increase product reliability
  • Translate quality into customer value by ensuring robust products, reliable processes, and consistently high delivery standards, driving customer satisfaction and trust
  • Act as a strong and independent voice to STG leadership: challenge performance gaps, escalate risks transparently, and drive decisive actions on safety and quality
  • Lead and empower the global EQS organization: establish clear accountability, develop capabilities, and foster a high-performance culture with a strong ownership mindset
  • Own EQS performance end-to-end: rigorously manage KPIs (TRIR, NCC, CAPA), ensuring deep root cause analysis, rapid corrective actions, and systematic organizational learning
  • Ensure process excellence in Quality Management in line with ISO standards: implement effective NCC and CAPA processes that prevent recurrence and drive continuous improvement
  • Build and enforce a global Product Safety Framework that ensures products are inherently safe, compliant, and reliable throughout their lifecycle
  • Drive transparency and compliance in sustainability reporting (CSRD, PREP, CNP), ensuring robust, future-ready reporting processes
  • Lead audits as a value-adding instrument — not control only — to identify gaps, enforce standards, and accelerate improvement
  • Harmonize EQS practices globally, ensuring consistent standards while fostering ownership and accountability in all regions
What You Bring
  • Degree in engineering, natural sciences, business administration, or a related field
  • Long-standing leadership experience with a strong focus on EQS in a global industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Proven track record in building high-performing international teams and driving cultural and organizational change
  • Strong strategic thinking combined with a hands-on, data-driven approach to problem solving
  • Experience implementing ISO-compliant quality management systems and sustainability reporting frameworks (CSRD knowledge a plus)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills — able to engage from shopfloor to C-suite
  • Role model of Siemens Energy Values and Leadership Mindset
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage
