A Snapshot of your day

Your day involves supporting procurement operations at SE GS Abu Dhabi Tooling Center by sourcing, evaluating, and procuring tooling equipment and consumables to meet operational needs. You'll work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries and streamline procurement processes.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Support procurement activities for tooling equipment, consumables, services, and CAPEX across the UAE and the region.
• Evaluate, negotiate, and onboard suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery while expanding the supplier network.
• Conduct receiving inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor inventory levels, maintain optimal stock, and support urgent project requirements through rapid local sourcing.
• Collaborate with departments to forecast tooling needs and support localization initiatives to reduce lead times and improve cost efficiency.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive supplier database while evaluating vendor capabilities.

What You Bring

• 3-4 years of procurement experience, preferably in tooling, energy sector, or workshop environments.
• Strong knowledge of tooling equipment, consumables, procurement systems, and familiarity with procurement processes and documentation.
• Excellent negotiation, interpersonal skills, and ability to work in multicultural teams.
• Exposure to ERP systems (e.g., SAP) or willingness to learn, with the ability to work independently and support senior colleagues.

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
