A Snapshot of Your Day

In the role as technical consultant/sales for remote diagnostic system of steam turbines and generator team you will be contact person for all customer and sales enquiries related to our remote diagnostic systems services. Your close interaction with customers and sales colleagues will lead to improvements of our existing products and processes, and continuous development of new successful ways to monetize our digital technology and know-how.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Shape co-development and implementation of sales strategies to achieve objectives.
• Collaborate with sales colleagues with market analysis and planning regional strategy
• Improvement of the processes of price calculation and budgeting
• Support active customer acquisition and conduct occasional visits with the regional sales team
• Prepare quotations and lead order processing
• Manage and negotiate tenders in collaboration with technical experts and management
• Challenge our processes and own lean initiatives

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in engineering – mechanical, energy, electrical, industrial, etc.
• Business Insight / MBA – experience in various aspects of business/sales administration environment
• 5 years of experience in the energy sector
• Experience with business development initiatives and their implementation
• Excellent communications skills – you will represent our company at customer meetings and also you will be communicating internally across multiple departments
• Willingness and ability to travel international occasionally 25 % (1 week trips)
• Excellent communication and written skills in English; additional languages are an advantage

About the Team

You will be part of a 20-member international team of engineers focused on remote diagnostics systems team for steam turbines and generators. Of these, 5 colleagues are located in Brno, and the rest are spread across the world. In this position, you will collaborate with colleagues from the commercial department.
