A Snapshot of Your Day

Provides deep technical knowledge in an assigned services portfolio and advises the Siemens Energy sales, tendering, project operational teams and customers in our capabilities and options on how to use and integrate Siemens Energy services effectively.

The role is working primarily to support the business as a service technical specialist in conjunction with the Sales, Tendering and Operations team to work together to secure orders and contracts and deliver projects. This role will need to take lead in estimating and submitting brownfield opportunities

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Supports the respective sales teams in approaching and serving potential customers best and advises both sales organisation and customers in capabilities and options in how to use and integrate Siemens Energy services effectively.
• Supports the respective tendering teams in serving potential customers best and provide advice in capabilities and options in how to use and integrate Siemens Energy services effectively.
• Serves sales team and customers as technical support with respect to the service portfolio.
• Creates respective technical and commercial concepts and offerings to support the sales process.
• Takes lead in preparing estimation, submission, technical review of complex tenders and/ or brownfield tenders.
• Supports Project Managers and Technicians as technical support with respect to the service portfolio.

Main services portfolio covered by this role in the region are included here (but not limited to) :-

• Services for HV Equipment Circuit Breakers, Disconnectors, GIS and Transformers
• Service, with main area of application: -
  • Brownfield site and extensions; -
    • AIS/ Transformer Replacements
    • AIS/Transformer Refurbishments
    • GIS Extensions & Upgrades

What You Bring

• Currently / previously holds an electrical licence(s).
• Technical experience in a related industry for at least 5 years.
• Deep technical knowledge of the relevant portfolio
• Able to work in a flexible team environment
• Able to present technical and product specifications information, and sales arguments to a variety of audiences.
