- Actively driving the development of our water electrolyzer systems
- Responsibility for process engineering design and simulation of water electrolyzer systems
- Taking the lead in designing test stands for electrolyzer modules and components
- Representing the interface between stack and balance of stack
- Supporting risk assessment and HAZOP studies
- Planning and executing system- and component tests including documentation and interpretation of results
- Closely collaborating with the stack design team and other disciplines
- Technical contact person for project engineering and commissioning colleagues
- Successfully completed studies in the field of process engineering, chemical engineering or comparable disciplines
- Many years of experience in electrolysis technology development, with focus on process and system engineering
- In-depth knowledge of water electrolysis technology, especially alkaline (AEL, AEM)
- Proven experience in engineering of water electrolysis systems incl. a strong hands-on mentality
- Sound knowledge of P&ID methodology as well as competence in engineering tools like COMOS
- Proficiency in process simulation software like Aspen Plus or similar as well as knowledge of relevant codes & standards, e.g. PED, LVD, ISO 22734
- Willingness to work in interdisciplinary teams to develop joint innovative solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels including proficiency in German and English
