A Snapshot of Your Day


You'll lead critical initiatives and orchestrate negotiations to secure optimal contracts. Your role involves cultivating robust supplier relationships, analyzing market dynamics, and driving cost-saving measures. Collaborating closely with customers, you'll ensure alignment with evolving needs while spearheading performance enhancements. How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Plan negotiations, define awarding strategy and prepare sourcing board approvals, respecting the suppliers defined by the commodity strategy, to enable pooling potential.
  • Negotiate local, regional, or multi-site contracts in conjunction with relevant procurement managers, or independently. This includes negotiating prices, delivery schedules, and payment terms, among other specifics.
  • Manage the relationship with assigned suppliers (in alignment with CM/GCM when applicable).
  • Generates, documents and implement savings measures; monitor and reports relevant KPIs.
  • Identify procurement risks and opportunities and implement respective measures
  • Implement Commodity Strategies and define local/regional material field strategy for non-pooled commodities and Portfolios/PCCs Strategies.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or Engineering
  • 10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing/commodity management
  • Must be Fluent in English
  • Experience working in a complex, global organizational environment with a strong understanding of component manufacturing processes and quality.
  • Outstanding Excel skills, coupled with excellent commercial, contractual, and project management competence.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and customer management skills, with experience working in a matrix environment and managing global supplier relationships.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
