Organization and control of procurement activities in the post-holder's area of responsibility, with the objective of maximizing the contribution to operating profit and optimizing the purchasing and procurement processes and the use of resources
How You’ll Make an Impact
Compliance Integrity and Procedure management
- Regularly review, update and align company procedure and operation with siemens energy principles, guidelines and regional regulation.
- Ensure there is no systematic loophole or practice risk in company procedure.
- Regularly check and review daily practice to ensure transparent and consistent refreshment in Compliance and Integrity
Cost Management
- Continuous lead the procurement team to find direct material cost saving initiatives.
- By utilizing standard procurement activity like negotiation, E-auction, pooling, GVS etc.
- Cooperating with R&D, engage supplier innovation to support engineering related saving initiatives.
- Take competitiveness of compony product as the target of direct material cost, comparing horizontally and vertically the purchasing cost.
- Proactively and regularly engaging supplier, RCM and internal knowhow to drive CVE topic.
- For indirect material cost, always follow and exceed SE required tool and TOCO principle. managing effective and competitive sourcing to purchasing and order maintenance.
Cooperation and teamwork
- Collaborate with other operational functions and R&D inner company to secure supply chain contribute to the successful operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Proactively engage in delivery performance improvement, supplier quality improvement activity. taking lead in claim negotiation to minimize supplier related NCC.
- To proactively work and align target, activity and supply chain strategy with Cluster, regional and global procurement team.
- Support top-down strategy transformation, supplier pooling and drive local for global activity.
- Being leading function in early supplier involvement activities, DFX discussion between R&D, Engineering and suppliers.
Procurement strategy and supplier management
- Develop factory level procurement strategies according to company's business objectives, break down to practical implementation plans.
- Align the strategy with supplier quality, SCM, R&D and regional or global leading commodity management team.
- Establish factory level supplier panel, embed supplier performance evaluation (from monthly to annual evaluation, risk assessment) into strategy implementation plan.
- Establish systematic supplier relationship management methodology for factory and align with global regulations.
Digitalization
- Comply the utilization of Siemens Energy Tools, from SAP to SAP ARIBA, MDG, SUPERIS etc.
- Develop competence of factory procurement team in digitalization.
- Establish the roadmap of procurement efficiency and accuracy improvement in a digitalization way.
- Set up procurement data monitoring system (such as on-time delivery rate, cost reduction achievement rate, supplier qualification rate, etc.), regularly issue procurement analysis reports, and provide support for management decision-making.
Competence management
- Build and develop the procurement team, clarify job responsibilities and performance goals.
- Establish successor development plan.
- Initiate the procurement competence Metrix, complying with company business requirement. Establish the corresponding competence readiness plan.
What You Bring
- 5 to 10 years in a corresponding function with manufacturing in an international environment
- 5+ years' experience of leading managers
- International project experience with collaboration within international teams is a plus.
- Experience in international working environment is a must
- Having worked in a different country is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree and above. Master is a plus, Major in automation or electrical, mechanic etc.
- Good command of English speaking, German is a plus
