A Snapshot of Your Day

The professional must meet the requirements of engineering projects either alone or leading a small team, plan and distribute activities, teaching and overseeing the technical work for conceptual, basic or detail engineering design. They will be responsible for helping the project manager by identifying impacts on time or cost and support claim variation order for additional work scope changes. Will also lead and participate in design review meeting with client and coordinate on the interface issues.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Prepare Steady state Hysys Simulation
• Preparation, Review & approval of PFDs, UFDs, Heat & Mass balance and P&IDs
• Perform Equipment and line sizing calculation and provide process datasheets.
• Prepare Operating control & Safeguarding philosophies
• Review technical bid evaluation of all key equipment, instruments, electrical items and support to conclude technically preferred supplier related to Process
• Overall Process Safety/Relief design: Perform Relief valve sizing calculation and Flare

• Chemical Engineering bachelor degree
• Well versed in Hysys Simulation, Familiar with Autodesk and COMOS 2D software
• Familiar with international codes & standards such as API, ASME
• Knowledge of material selection, process safety and Instrumentation/Controls requirements
• Communication skills to coordinate with different levels in organization chart
• Commitment to the task assigned, self-initiative and problem solving skills
• Advanced english is required

About the Team

The process team is located in Brazil however we have multiple international costumers working with Siemens teams in US and Europe. This position will be mostly required to interface with our US team and customers in Process Safety Analyses of industrial plants.
