A Snapshot of Your Day 

Join us as a Sourcing Manager (f/m/d) mainly for Steam Generators, where you will play a pivotal role in international proposal and execution teams. You will coordinate project delivery, ensuring adherence to budget, quality, safety, performance, and schedule requirements. By developing and maintaining global commodity strategies, you will ensure effective supplier management for HRSG (Heat Recovery Steam Generators) and dSCR (diluted Selective Catalytic Reduction) systems. Collaborating closely with various teams, including Engineering, Project Management, and Logistics, you will establish project controls aligned with PM@SE & Business Management Systems. Your leadership will motivate suppliers to drive successful project outcomes, contributing to our energy transformation efforts. 


How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • You will enhance project success through your commitment to cost, quality, and timely delivery in supplier and contract management activities. 
  • Evaluate commercial aspects of customer contracts, preparing specifications and inquiry documents to ensure clarity and compliance. Take charge of contract management and negotiations with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions. 
  • Oversee contractor performance, ensuring adherence to schedules, quality standards, and cost management while reviewing commercial documentation and invoices. 

What You Bring
  • A Master’s Degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field, demonstrating your academic prowess. 
  • Extensive experience in contract and supplier management, particularly in completing international projects within the power plant sector. Strong expertise in supplier and material market evaluation, coupled with a strategic attitude towards cost management. 
  • Specialized knowledge in HRSG/dSCR systems, with experience in the EPC market or with HRSG contractors would be a plus. 
  • Proficiency in document and data management tools, along with a self-motivated, energetic approach to multitasking and organization. 
  • Excellent English skills (German is a plus) and intercultural sensitivity, enabling effective collaboration in international teams and with global suppliers and willingness to travel globally (approx. 20 %). 

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
