A Snapshot of Your Day
This position ensures business continuity for the CM500 software, a critical component of all gas and steam turbine projects. The role focuses on internalizing maintenance and development expertise to reduce external dependencies and secure long-term stability. You will combine hands-on systems software engineering with technical project leadership, acting as a subject matter expert for CM500 integration. Extensive experience in industrial software, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently while mentoring others are essential.
How You’ll Make an Impact - Design, development, and enhancement of the CM500 software platform using Delphi, C++, and related technologies
- Assurance of high availability through continuous maintenance, debugging, and complex troubleshooting activities
- Management of the complete software lifecycle, including requirements analysis, architecture design, implementation, and testing
- Development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes
- Provision of subject matter expertise for CM500, including technical guidance, code reviews, and mentoring
- Cross‑functional collaboration with hardware and project teams to ensure seamless system integration and comprehensive technical documentation
What You Bring- Completion of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Extensive professional experience in systems software engineering, preferably within industrial or embedded environments
- Demonstrated subject matter expertise with the ability to manage large and complex software projects independently
- High proficiency in Borland Delphi, C++, and C, combined with strong knowledge of algorithms and the software development lifecycle
- Solid experience with Linux, CI/CD pipelines, APIs, version control systems, debugging, and advanced troubleshooting techniques
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and software engineering best practices, including code reviews and quality assurance processes
About the Team
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
