A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Software Developer Intern within the Gas Services Quality Management team in Dubai, you’ll be immersed in a dynamic environment that targets ambitious Computer Science Engineering students eager to apply their Python skills and foundational knowledge of LLM frameworks. You’ll engage in meaningful projects that leverage AI technologies to automate and enhance engineering processes, directly impacting Siemens Energy’s mission to ensure business continuity and operational excellence. How You’ll Make an Impact
- Design and develop front-end interfaces using React, seamlessly integrating them with back-end LLM services via Python and FastAPI.
- Support API development to embed AI models into existing engineering platforms, enhancing data workflows and operational efficiency.
- Contribute to digital pipeline configuration and ETL processes, participating in code reviews to ensure quality and reliability.
- Maintain and update deployed applications, resolving bugs and enhancing features based on user feedback to improve user experience.
- Collaborate with engineers to identify manual processes suitable for automation, building and testing proof-of-concept prototypes.
- Provide day-to-day support for AI tools, monitoring application performance and assisting with user onboarding and adoption efforts.
What You Bring
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related Engineering field, with a strong foundation in programming and development.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with Python through coursework, personal projects, or open-source contributions, showcasing your technical proficiency.
- Academic or project-based exposure to LLM frameworks, REST APIs, and front-end development, highlighting your readiness to tackle complex challenges.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, with the ability to monitor application performance and health using tools like CloudWatch or Azure Monitor.
- Strong problem-solving skills, collaboration abilities, and learning agility, essential for thriving in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
