A Snapshot of Your Day 

As Site Manager your working day starts at an industrial construction site for HVDC Power Transmission. Your primary responsibility will be to plan and coordinate the daily site activities together with your team. You will serve as the primary contact for various stakeholders at the construction site. This will involve liaising with customers, authorities, contractors, and partners. Further, you will align and collaborate closely with the project management team and the back-office project team, ensuring smooth project operation.

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Hold overall responsibility for on-site operations within Siemens Energy SE PE EC's jurisdiction, along with legal accountability for the project site and on-site personnel
  • Ensure compliance with EHS regulations, promote Zero Harm Culture, and uphold safety standards
  • Represent Project Management interests to customers, authorities, contractors, partners, and consultants
  • Coordinate on-site implementation, financial results, timelines, and quality for Siemens Energy
  • Advance significant issues and handle deviations from procedures, contracts and claims activities
  • Coordinate corrective actions, evaluate cost-based risk mitigation, and review concurrent cost accounting
  • Regularly review the project schedule of construction activities and update the Open Points List
What You Bring
  • Degree in electrical or civil engineering or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of on-site leadership (E/Civil site lead) involvement in significant construction sites; Proficiency in Construction/Commissioning processes and methodologies
  • Profound expertise in EHS policies, regulations, and plans for complex construction projects on-site
  • Proven skill in leading multinational teams amid rapid transformations, showcasing outstanding communication and leadership prowess
  • Proficient in English and German with a willingness to work both in and outside of Germany, at various construction sites
