What You Can Expect
Over two exciting years, you’ll gain hands-on experiences and become an active part of your team’s daily activities. Through impactful projects in three customized assignments - including an eight-month international placement - you’ll gain a deep understanding of Siemens Energy. A dedicated mentor will support you every step of the way, giving you the chance to explore different roles, engage in immersive experiences, and build a strong network with peers and industry leaders.
Working as an R&D Project Manager, you will be at the forefront of developing next-generation gas turbine technologies. You will drive innovation by collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver technical solutions that align with customer needs and industry standards while developing strong project management and leadership skills.
How You’ll Make an Impact
As part of our Graduate Program, you are on the Siemens Energy team. You’ll share our purpose in energizing society by supporting customers with transitioning to a more sustainable world and work on real global issues, creating solutions that directly make an impact.
- Lead product development projects within the R&D organization, ensuring delivery against defined targets, scope, and timelines
- Plan, coordinate, and track project tasks, resources, and milestones while providing regular progress updates to stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional and international teams to ensure alignment of technical solutions
- Support the development of innovative gas turbine technologies contributing to low-emission power generation
- Identify risks and challenges in project execution and contribute to mitigation strategies
- Drive effective communication across stakeholders to ensure transparency and project success
What You Bring
- A Master’s or PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
- Practical experience through internships or working student roles; up to 36 months of additional professional experience is welcome
- Strong interest in R&D, product development, and project management within an engineering environment
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional and multicultural teams
- Excellent English communication skills and willingness to work in an international environment with some travel
- Minimum 3 months of international experience through studies, work, or exchange programs
