A Snapshot of Your Day

We are looking for a Field Service Engineer for the customer support of Industrial Application projects. Based in Bayswater, VIC, your focus will be on the Marine Industry. You will be involved in supporting our customers with their service of motors, automation and propulsion systems, and the power distribution and transmission of ships.

Your other key responsibilities include:
• Ownership and responsibility of service delivery and customer support throughout Australia
• Enabling customer satisfaction through prompt resolution of service requests.
• Support the Siemens Energy Marine customer support helpdesk (email and phone support, on call periods will be required)
• Carrying out the on-site work safely including job hazard and safety risk assessments
• Effective support & collaboration with sales and execution (bid preparation phase, project installation and project commissioning)
• Accurate completion of administrative duties such as time sheets & expense claims.

What you will bring:

• Experience in the Marine field (advantageous) with Electrical and/or Automation background
• Proven knowledge and years of experience in service delivery
• Electrical/Mechanical trade Certification (advantageous)
• Eligible to obtain Defence security clearance (NV1)
• Ability to work with customers to achieve successful outcomes.
• Full working rights in Australia
• Ability to travel
