A Snapshot of Your Day:

As a Senior Tender Engineer, you will target experienced professionals with a strong background in high voltage engineering and bid management. You will lead meaningful projects focused on preparing technical and commercial proposals for high voltage substations, directly impacting Siemens Energy’s mission to deliver innovative solutions to clients and partners. How You’ll Make an Impact:
  • Lead the preparation of tender proposals for high voltage substations and Grid Technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with sales teams during customer negotiations to establish effective tender strategies.
  • Set up tender structures and align with business areas on tax concepts and business models.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical tender documents and establish budgets and milestones for timely submissions.
  • Coordinate across multiple functions to facilitate sales and ensure quality bids that minimize non-conformance.
  • Conduct cost/risk assessments to support effective decision-making and risk mitigation.

What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 5-8 years of experience in high voltage substation engineering or bid management.
  • Strong knowledge of high voltage equipment and sales cycles.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools like Salesforce.com and MS Office applications.
  • Experience in complex tender compilation and preparation with a strong business acumen.
  • Methodical approach with high attention to detail and effective communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a sales team environment and contribute to successful outcomes.
