A Snapshot of Your Day
As part of tax team, independently perform tax governance & advisory activities which comply with Group tax policies, local tax regulations in a timely and accurate manner

How You’ll Make an Impact
• Review PRC tax returns (including VAT, CIT, withholding tax, and stamp duty) to ensure accuracy and on-time submission.
• Support monitoring effective tax rates and assist in preparing tax reports required by HQ.
• Conduct tax due diligence for pre-acquisition activities and implement tax controls for post-acquisition integration (under the Tax Manager’s supervision).
• Support the preparation of Transfer Pricing documentation and assist with transfer pricing consulting tasks.
• Provide administrative and research support for cross-border project tax matters, including coordinating with external tax advisors as assigned.
• Assist in conducting tax research on technical issues and draft ad-hoc tax advice for group companies (under the Tax Manager’s supervision).
• Negotiate with tax authorities for favorable treatment and assist companies in handling tax audits.
• Coordinate corporate tax governance and risk management for your portfolio of group companies.

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, Proficient in both English and Mandarin.
• 4–5 years of proven experience in corporate taxes, experience of VAT/tax digital is a plus.
• Knowledge of PRC tax regulations, with experience in assisting with group company tax affairs.
• Experience in supporting tax audit responses; any exposure to Customs audit coordination is a plus.
• Good cross-function communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Aligns with the SE corporate/departmental culture.
