As Value Center and IT Business Partner for HR and EQS IT services, we are responsible for defining, implementing and handling the IT landscapes for the corporate functions “Human Resources” / “Environmental protection, Health management and Safety (EHS)” / “Quality Governance and Security (EQS)” over the full lifecycle of the applications and IT services, on a global scale.

We are looking for a strong, experienced professional eager to join us in the role of IT Application Manger and IT project manager for our new solution “HR data hub”.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• As Senior Application Manager, you are responsible for handling the IT applications for the HR data hub. In addition, you drive the implementation of the IT strategy for HR by leading projects for implementation or migration of IT applications.
• Managing demands for the existing and new services and ensuring compliance of demands with overarching financial and architectural guidelines is also part of your role. With these activities, you support the IT Business Partner in shaping the IT budget together with the respective business to ensure a wholistic perspective.

Your responsibility will cover the following areas:

• Service Owner for IT service “HR data hub” over the complete service lifecycle:
• Organize and supervise service delivery from our providers: SaaS providers (AWS, Snowflake), Application Management Service (AMS) providers, Infrastructure teams
• Offering the operations in AWS either by yourself or by the AMS providers
• Supervise service levels, handle user problems, ensure contract fulfillment by partners in budget and quality
• Orchestrate the service management processes, for example change management, incident management, release management, stakeholder management
• Manage new demands and apply requirement engineering, consult the functional department on how to make use of the full potential of IT solutions for their business
• Procurement & contracting of IT assets and 3rd party services, organize RfI (Request for Information) and RfP (Request for Proposal), lead negotiations, ensure compliance of new contracts with respective regulations
• Budgeting & financial controlling, claim management
• Project lead for the implementation and roll-out of new IT projects in the area of the HR data hub
• Project time-/milestone-/budget planning
• Lead the project, ensure success in time and in budget
• Definition of the service scope & SLA for setup of new IT services

What You Bring

• University degree or comparable qualification
• Multi-year experience in operating and managing mid- to large IT-services for business applications, ideally in global settings, and for cloud applications
• Experiences in AWS and snowflake
• Knowledge of Python and Lambda functions
• Multi-year experience in management of IT projects
• Ideally good knowledge of IT compliance & IT assurance (ITGC)
• Knowledge of datalakes or data mesh systems preferred
• Highly customer focused attitude to work with great emphasis on positive outcomes - "Delighting the customer"
• Intercultural & global exposure, communicate fluently in English (CIBA 4)
• Experience communicating at all levels of management and handling conflict and change
• Experience in Agile Methodology
