A Snapshot of Your Day

As Senior Business Analyst you will be a key strategic driver to elevate the global CVE function by shaping effective operating models, driving digital acceleration, and steering value creation across Siemens Energy. You lead complex cross-functional initiatives, design next-generation processes, and influence senior stakeholders to accelerate transformation and operational excellence globally.

In this role you will work in a diverse and dynamic team, collaborating with cross-functions and external service providers. With a wide exposure across organizational departments, you will operate as a business partner towards our functional customers and stakeholders. You will serve as an enabler for smart decision-making, scalable solutions, transparent performance management as well as people-centric competence development.

As Senior Business Analyst you ensure the effectiveness of the company wide CVE community, best practices are defined and followed, and developments of digital solutions are addressing the improvement potential with a focus on business impact. Through internal and external benchmark analytics you drive the development of the next generation of our Cost Value Engineering as a robust and high performing function.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Analyze and continuously improve CVE ways of working by driving targeted initiatives in close collaboration with Subject Matter Experts across the organization.
  • Leverage modern process‑ and change‑management practices, translating new methodologies and digital opportunities into scalable solutions for the global CVE community.
  • Maintain, refine, and expand CVE KPI dashboards to ensure transparent performance monitoring and data‑driven steering of CVE activities.
  • Define required competences, assess maturity, and identify concrete actions to systematically strengthen CVE capabilities.
  • Develop and manage a role‑specific training catalogue, embedded in a structured community‑wide learning and development landscape.
  • Foster a strong, connected CVE community by cultivating collaboration, inclusion, and effectiveness through initiatives, events, and impactful communication.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in a relevant field; a Master’s degree or industry‑recognized certifications are a strong advantage.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in consulting, governance, functional development, or a comparable environment, demonstrating increasing responsibility and impact
  • Proven expertise in business process management and improvement, with hands‑on experience applying lean principles and supporting digital transformation initiatives.
  • Excellent project management capabilities, including effective stakeholder management and experience leading or coordinating cross‑functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, paired with strong attention to detail and outstanding communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Fluency in professional English; additional languages such as German or Spanish are considered a plus.
