A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Sales Support Intern at Siemens Energy, you will be immersed in a dynamic environment, collaborating with a diverse team to support after-market sales activities for our Industrial Turbomachinery in the Middle East. You will engage in meaningful projects, such as assisting the Tendering team with order handovers and liaising with Account Managers and Product Competence Centers globally.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Support after-market sales activities for Siemens Energy Turbomachinery in the Middle East, ensuring seamless operations at customer sites.
- Assist the Tendering team with order handovers for spare parts and standard service business, facilitating smooth transitions.
- Collaborate with Account Managers, Product Competence Centers, and support functions for bid-related activities, enhancing bid success.
- Engage in marketing activities by following up and clarifying with external customers, strengthening customer relationships.
- Coordinate with the Order Execution Team for an efficient handover of orders received, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Maintain and update data in applications and shared drives and generate periodic bid-related reports for management insights.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Sales, or a related field.
- High initiative and responsible decision-making skills, with the ability to work independently and proactively.
- Proficiency in Salesforce, SharePoint, and MS Office applications, with strong commercial acumen for cost-price calculations.
- Excellent coordination, organization, and prioritization skills to manage communication across numerous groups and departments.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and collaboration.
About the Team
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
