How to contribute to our vision
This role is a replacement for the Sales Operations Head to ensure business continuity within the Controls & Digitalization unit for Service Latin America. As a Team Leader (M2), this position is responsible for leading the technical sales team across multiple countries to drive business growth and maintain operational excellence. To meet these objectives, the role is structured around three core pillars: Team Leadership & Performance Management, Sales Strategy & Operations, and Technical Customer & Stakeholder Management. This approach ensures the team is effectively managed, sales activities are strategically planned and executed, and key customer relationships are technically supported. Given the focus on leading a technical sales function, the ideal candidate will possess proven leadership experience in a similar environment. Essential requirements include strong capabilities in sales strategy, operational management using tools like Salesforce, customer relationship management, and a solid understanding of technical products within the energy or industrial controls sector.
What You Need To Make a Difference
- 40% Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Supervise and guide a team of technical sales professionals across Latin America (Peru, Mexico, Argentina).
- Set clear sales goals, objectives, and KPIs for the team to achieve operational results.
- Ensure team adherence to company policies, sales practices, and ethical standards.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide coaching, and facilitate sales training to develop team capabilities.
- 30% Sales Strategy & Operations
- Develop and implement regional sales strategies to protect and grow market share for Controls & Digitalization products and services.
- Prepare and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and detailed sales analysis reports for leadership review.
- Manage the sales pipeline and operational processes using CRM tools like Salesforce.
- Investigate and propose new applications or improvements to products based on customer feedback and market trends.
- 30% Technical Customer & Stakeholder Management
- Act as a key technical interface between customers and internal engineering and program management teams.
- Oversee the development of technical sales proposals, pricing considerations, and contract requirements.
- Lead the preparation and delivery of high-level technical sales briefings for key customers and internal stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with strategic customers to ensure satisfaction and identify new opportunities.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience in technical sales, with demonstrated experience leading or supervising sales teams.
- Several years of experience in the energy, industrial automation, or controls systems industry is highly desirable.
