A Snapshot of Your Day

As an SAP Logistics Process Expert, you will act as the critical link between Siemens Energy’s global logistics operations and our SAP implementation project tasks. You will lead the effort to align and harmonize logistics and shipping processes across regions, ensuring these processes are accurately reflected in the S4-HANA solution design.

You will support design end-to-end process solutions, validate partner deliverables, and drive decision-making for process standardization. You will also participate in key migration projects, ensuring that business requirements are fully met in the technical build.

How You’ll Make an Impact 

  • Take ownership for the timely implementation of SAP projects while considering specific business requirements
  • Collaborate closely with SAP implementation partners to ensure designs match Siemens Energy standards and operational needs.
  • Represent the business’s operational and strategic interests during the SAP S4-HANA migration and rollout.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications and ensure proper sign-off before build.
  • Validate solutions and configuration outcomes delivered by the implementation partner to ensure they meet agreed process standards.
  • Support testing activities (SIT, UAT) by defining test scenarios, validating results, and coordinating issue resolution.
  • Provide guidance and training to business key users on future SAP-based processes.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, recommending SAP standard best practices that reduce complexity and support business goals.

What You Bring

  • A completed degree in business/informatics or a comparable vocational training plus additional experience and qualifications
  • In depth knowledge and experience in process support and/or SAP module support (e.g., S4 Hana, SAP MM, SD, TM, EWM) 
  • In-depth knowledge of logistics and shipping, as well as an understanding of processes in logistics and shipping operations
  • Experience with typical systems and processes in the logistics/shipping environment (e.g., customs and preference procedures, ATLAS export, transport planning)
  • Experience with SAP migration projects in the logistics/shipping environment (e.g. SAP certification)
  • Very good English skills, both written and spoken; German language skills are desirable
  • Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
  • A quick grasp of concepts, teamwork skills, abstraction ability, and process understanding complete your profile
  • Availability to work from our Bucharest office 3 days per week, with 2 days remote
