RLA (Region Latin America) – Industrial Cybersecurity Solution Architect


Siemens Energy is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven and forward-thinking OT (Operation Technology) industrial cybersecurity solution architect for our Latin America region. In this role, he or she will support the go-to-market teams with new offerings of OT cybersecurity solutions and services. Additionally, you will collaborate in developing the RLA OT Cyber Security business plan and go-to-market strategy. Extensive cross collaboration with the entire go-to-market organization will be cored to being effective in this role. This position requires knowledge of OT Security programs, including OT Security Strategy, OT Security Operations, Security Training and Awareness, OT General Controls Compliance and Audit Management and OT Risk.

How You will Make an Impact

  • As an Industrial cybersecurity solution architect, you will drive creative solutions to meet complex customer business challenges through the following efforts:
    • Support the go-to-market team with cybersecurity sales campaigns targeted at enterprise accounts in LATAM.
    • Support the go-to-market team base level sales campaigns targeted at aftermarket accounts in LATAM.
  • Collaborating with the go-to-market team with multi-channel marketing campaigns for the acquisition and retention of customers.
  • Being part of a cross-functional team consisting of members of the central Siemens Energy cybersecurity department as well as sales and customer facing colleagues to leverage proven cybersecurity offerings to our clients.
  • Ensuring cybersecurity operations teams are enabled and equipped to deliver on commitments to safety, quality, timely delivery, and compliance.
  • Building technical solutions based on customer requirements, tailored to each project's scope and deliverables, while working under pressure and meeting deadlines.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or equivalent with 5 years of experience in Cybersecurity.
  • Understanding of the capabilities and configuration of industrial cybersecurity controls and solutions across multiple facets; for example: asset management, vulnerability management, anomaly detection, network security, endpoint security, application security, IDS/IPS, Managed Security Services, SIEM, data analytics, security strategy and/or risk management.
  • Plus- You are familiar with (energy sector) critical infrastructure & regulatory requirements of countries across Latin America.
  • Knowledge of the relevant standards such as IEC62443 and NERC CIP is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with Controls Systems, DMZ concepts, and industrial networks is desired.
  • Consultancy experience in cybersecurity for critical infrastructure is a plus.
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and manage matrix resources.
  • Excellent communication and customer presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter, highly motivated, have ownership mentality and can work productively with minimal guidance.
  • Open-minded and wish to work in global, intercultural, and cross-functional teams.
  • Team-selling experience.
  • English and Spanish proficiency are a must.
  • Portuguese proficiency is desired.
  • International travel required up to 50%.
