A Snapshot of Your Day
Join our dynamic team as a Proposal Integrator Intern and embark on an exciting journey in the Mods & Ups Sales Organization! In this role, you'll be at the heart of our proposal process, working closely with a sub-regional Team Lead and reporting to the Manager of Proposal Integration. You'll play a crucial role in identifying opportunities, writing project proposals and supporting the execution handoff of complex field operations proposals, including Revamps, Upgrades, Turnarounds, Installation & Commissioning, and Long-Term Partnerships (LTPs) on turbomachinery.

How You’ll Make an Impact
- Drive Marketing Strategy: Play a key role in defining and implementing innovative marketing strategies for each project solution.
- Financial Mastery: Develop cost estimates, conduct financial and risk analyses, and create compelling proposal documents.
- Strategic Coordination: Participate in crucial meetings like bid/no bid, kickoff, strategy reviews, and handoffs with key stakeholders across Product Line, Region, Business Unit, and Segment Management.
- Proposal Management:
- Collaborate with a diverse network of internal stakeholders to compile cost and value information.
- Use Siemens Energy tools to present and deliver value-driven quotes to customers.
- Respond to customer requests for clarification and status updates.
- Evaluate requests for proposal/quotation and work scopes for detailed proposal development.
- Product Expertise: Gain deep understanding of the internal costs and external value propositions of our products, ensuring alignment with product line developers and the RNA Operations organization.
- Relationship Building: Gather and respond to feedback from internal customers and external partners, fostering strong connections.
- Documentation Excellence: Maintain accurate records to support the proposal and approval processes, ensuring a smooth handover to execution.
- Identifying Opportunities: Spotting potential areas for improvement or new business opportunities.
What You Bring
- Educational Background: Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or Business.

The Canadian Proposal Integration Team is at the forefront of supporting turbomachinery equipment modification and upgrade project proposals, as well as field service proposals for all distributed product lines to our industrial customers in Canada.
