A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Project Manager, you will focus on ensuring the timely and budget-compliant delivery of transmission products while improving revenue and profit margins. You’ll collaborate with a diverse, global team across various business units and factories to facilitate smooth project execution. Your role involves coordinating local subcontractors and international factories to ensure adherence to schedules, quality standards, and EHS regulations. You also work closely with finance and commercial teams to accurately report financial metrics, handle customer relationships for long-term satisfaction and growth, and proactively identify and address potential risks and opportunities to align with project objectives.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Project Delivery: Ensure timely, high-quality, and budget-compliant delivery of transmission products while improving revenue and profit margins.
- Teamwork: Work with a diverse, global team across multiple business units and factories for smooth project execution.
- Subcontractor Management: Coordinate local subcontractors and international factories to ensure compliance with schedules, quality standards, and EHS regulations.
- Financial Oversight: Collaborate with finance and commercial teams for accurate reporting of financial metrics, including revenue invoices and cash flow management.
- Customer Relationship Management: Nurture strong customer relationships to achieve long-term retention, satisfaction, and growth opportunities.
- Risk and Opportunity Management: Proactively identify and report potential risks, opportunities, and variations to align with project objectives and customer expectations.
What You Bring
- Adaptable Mentality: Possess a flexible approach to optimally handle a diverse range of products with varying complexities.
- Educational Background: Hold formal qualifications at least at the HND/HNC level in Electrical Engineering, with a preference for a degree or equivalent experience.
- Industry Knowledge: Have a proven understanding of Transmission and Distribution standards and technologies.
- Commercial Competence: Demonstrate awareness of commercial and contractual considerations.
- Project Management Expertise: Exhibit experience in project management, emphasizing risk management and effective communication, with a successful track record of collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on a global scale.
- Regulatory Familiarity: Be knowledgeable about Irish regulations and current health and safety legislation.
