A Snapshot of Your Day
As Project Engineer – Coupling and Gears you will be a team member in the global project team for compressors and thus responsible for the order-specific design execution of Coupling and Gears for turbo compressor train in consideration of the budget and customer specifications. The position will be based in Lodz, Poland, in a global, ambitious technical environment.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Central contact person for project management and customers for all technical matters of Coupling and Gears of an order.
- Coordination and clarification of technical issues with internal and external partners.
- Execution and participation of internal and external meetings.
- Forward-looking monitoring of the project of Coupling and Gear scope from an Engineering perspective (progress milestones, budget, opportunities & risks).
- Execution of feasibility studies.
- Checks for contract conformity.
- Application and justification of exceptions to the contract with the customer (Concession Requests, Deviation Requests).
What You Bring
- Completed studies with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in the field of mechanical engineering or mechanical engineering, preferably rotating machinery.
- Professional experience and expertise in the field of rotating machinery about more than 3 years.
- Knowledge of our technical products and components.
- Knowledge of international standards and regulations in the oil & gas business.
- Knowledge of technical quality assurance as well as cost and risk awareness.
- Advanced team and interpersonal skills.
- Ownership culture and initiative.
- Systematic and structured way of working.
- Good process knowledge of project execution.
- Willingness to travel on business needs (up to 10% of time).
- Fluent in English.
