Production Operative (Segment 2)

A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Service Operative, you’ll play a vital role in preparing blade moulds and mandrels for production. Your work ensures that other team members can start their tasks efficiently and safely. This position is hands-on, detail-oriented, and essential to maintaining high-quality standards in our manufacturing process.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Prepare moulds, mandrels, and materials before packing begins
  • Organise and use tools and equipment effectively
  • Plan and lay out work to meet production schedules
  • Monitor stock and prepare materials
  • Process materials according to strict engineering specifications and quality standards
  • Move components and materials safely
  • Maintain a clean and organized working area

Useful Skills and Qualifications:

  • Forklift truck/cherry picker experience
  • Fiberglass handling experience
  • Health and safety certification
  • Shipbuilding or repair background
  • Strong manufacturing experience
  • Small crane or lifting license
  • Experience working shift patterns, including nights
