A Snapshot of Your Day
We are seeking a Production Engineer to support gas turbine combustion components, blade, and vane refurbishment at our Dammam facility. The role is responsible for shop floor execution and throughput optimization, ensuring refurbished components meet Siemens Energy OEM repair specifications.
This position plays a key role in local value creation in Saudi Arabia, strengthening in‑Kingdom capability and enhancing energy infrastructure resilience.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Manage day‑to‑day shop floor operations for gas turbine component refurbishment
- Maximize throughput, productivity, and first‑pass yield while meeting safety, quality, cost, and delivery targets
- Supervise and optimize refurbishment processes, including Conventional and Hot Box Welding, Laser Welding & SLM (Selective Laser Melting), FIC & Brazing, Heat Treatment, Chemical Stripping of coatings and coordination with Coating Operations
- Ensure strict adherence to shop routers, OEM repair specifications, drawings, and manufacturing instructions
- Support resolution of technical issues, non‑conformances, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Coordinate closely with Quality, Coating Operations, and Manufacturing Engineering, as well as Order Management, Supply Chain, and Logistics, to ensure seamless execution from order release through final delivery
- Promote a strong EHS and quality culture on the shop floor
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering
(Education may be relaxed for candidates with strong, directly relevant OEM experience) - 5–7 years of experience with an Energy, Power Generation, or Oil & Gas OEM, preferably in gas turbine manufacturing or refurbishment
- Strong understanding of gas turbine materials, welding, heat treatment, and basic understanding of coating processes
- Hands‑on production engineering mindset with solid shop floor presence
- Ability to interpret and apply technical drawings and OEM documentation
- Strong problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills
