 If you are an experienced product portfolio management professional passionate for driving change and wouldn't like to have a day like the other, this role is made for you. You will be end-to-end responsible for designing, creating and commercializing customer driven digital products and solutions to make a real impact in the energy market and the energy transformation. How You’ll Make an Impact 

• As Product Manager – Internet of Things and Edge you will play a central role in driving Grid Technologies’ vision of the grid of the future based on connectivity, data and intelligence
• You will have end-to-end business responsibility for the portfolio development to a successful market entry, creating a scalable and profitable portfolio, going much beyond just shaping them at the concept level
• You are responsible for identifying business opportunities, designing, developing, and commercializing digital products that will drive customer value and generating additional revenue streams
• You will collaborate and take a leading role on driving to product development, customer operations and sales. You will develop partners and customers to speed up adoption and value generation.
• You will scan the market for new technologies, trends and possible partners and M&A targets to complement Siemens Energy’s strengths, technologies, and competences
• You will collaborate across departments to drive growth and value for our product, solution and service business

What You Bring

• 5+ years relevant professional experience
• Completed your degree in computer science, data science, mechanical- or electrical engineering or comparable education
• Long-term experience and proven success record in similar roles creating new digital portfolio and driving digital transformation. You have proven experience and successes in the areas of asset digitalization, industrial grade IoT, and cyber security solutions
• Experience in application of digital solutions to optimize operation and cyber security of large fleets of assets and hands on experience are an advantage
• You are thrilled by new technologies and business models, you have profound understanding of IoT, digitalization and automation and you keep an eye on the latest developments in this space
• Entrepreneur thinking and business driven, with a clear understanding how to shape profitable products and business
• Strong drive and understanding of digital technology as well as a customer centric mindset.
• You have large international experience working abroad and with different cultures and can communicate with international team members and customers in fluent business English (mandatory) and German

About the Team

 At Digital Grid we are creating solutions for future needs of the grid. We provide power system engineering expertise, to help our Customers identify, classify and mitigate existing and future power system risks. We integrate Internet of Energy (IoE) in our digital solutions to enhance performance of the grid monitoring, control and automation systems. We enable integration of renewables using next generation power electronic platforms and applications.
