A Snapshot of Your Day
As the Product Lifecycle Strategy Manager, you will be responsible for the Small Gas Turbine (SGT) product strategy and ensuring product competitiveness. You will work closely with the Portfolio Strategy Management (PSM) team to determine evolving market requirements, develop and update product road maps, define value propositions and differentiators to ultimately result in capturing market share, maintaining high service penetration, and enabling high-quality margins along the product lifecycle. You will be a member of the One PRM D Virtual Organisation and will collaborate with the Head of Product Lifecycle Strategy for Distributed and Strategy Managers of the rest of the Distributed product lines to develop new markets, optimise processes, share lessons learned, and ensure alignment with the GS strategy.
You will interface on regular basis with cross-functional teams, including but not limited to, the One SGT teams especially Core Development Engineering, Service Product Development and Engineering, Global Customer Operations, Global Service Operations and Operations, as well as GS Strategy, GS Sales Operations, GS PRM New Technology, GS PRM Project Management and other key functions contributing to product strategy topics in the organisation.
This role will report directly to the Head of Product Lifecycle of Small Gas Turbines.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Drive the annual Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) process for SGT in collaboration with the Head of PSM, gathering stakeholder input to develop and prioritise R&D proposals.
- Lead the annual Market Evaluation Process (MEP) with the Head of PSM, analysing regional product performance and recommending roadmap and business improvements.
- Oversee R&D budget allocation of ~€15M across SGT programs and projects, ensuring strategic alignment and financial efficiency.
- Partner with the Head of R&D PMO to ensure timely and budget-compliant execution of SGT initiatives.
- Conduct annual competitiveness reviews to assess portfolio gaps and propose long-term strategic recommendations.
- Collaborate with GS PRM New Technologies to identify and integrate relevant innovations that strengthen the SGT product line.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced degrees (MSc, MBA, PhD) are a strong asset.
- proven experience in strategic, sales, project, or product management, ideally within gas turbines or the distributed energy market.
- Proactive self-starter with long-term vision, capable of driving initiatives that align with business objectives.
- Proven ability to lead through influence and deliver results across cross-functional teams.
- Track record in Business Development and Product Growth initiatives, with a focus on innovation and market expansion.
- Comfortable working independently on unstructured tasks

Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators.
