This role is ideal for a hands-on technician with significant field experience who can lead a team and ensure the successful completion of power transformer projects.

During a training phase in transformer manufacturing at one of Siemens Energy plants and on/or assembly sites, you will be prepared for your future tasks as a supervisor:

• Assembly of large transformers
• Maintenance and repair of older transformers

How you will make an Impact:

• Supervise the installation, assembly of high-voltage power transformers at various project sites across Europe.
• Review the readiness for commissioning activities for power transformer, ensure proper handover of assembly prior commissioning
• Perform final assembly after testing and make power transformer ready for energizing
• Lead and manage a team of technicians and subcontractors, ensuring all tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
• Conduct site inspections and assessments to identify potential issues and implement solutions.
• Ensure compliance with European safety standards and regulations.
• Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including daily logs and progress reports.
• Provide hands-on training and support to crew members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Coordinate with project managers and engineers to ensure project milestones are met.
• Solve technical issues on-site to minimize downtime and ensure project continuity.

What you Bring:

• Good experience in the installation, testing, and commissioning of high-voltage power transformers.
• Proven expertise in carrying out procedures from receiving transformer on site to putting it into operation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail, committed to achieving results
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to interact with clients, engineers, and team members.
• Trainings or certifications in Electrical /Mechanical/Mechatronics/Metal industry/ Energy technology or a related field.
• Power transformer installation certification is a plus
• Willingness to travel extensively across Europe (90% of time)
• Valid car license
