A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Piping Catalogue Administrator, you will ensure that piping data used across our energy projects is accurate, consistent, and fit for purpose. Your day may involve maintaining and developing piping catalogues and specifications in AVEVA E3D, supporting designers and material engineers, validating supplier data, and resolving technical issues related to the 3D design environment. Through your work, you will help standardize engineering data across projects and contribute to the efficient delivery of steam turbine, turbine hall, and modern energy facility projects in a collaborative international environment.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Manage and develop piping catalogues, specifications, and piping classes within AVEVA E3D.
- Maintain and update data for piping components, including pipes, fittings, flanges, valves, supports, and special items.
- Configure catalogue data in line with project requirements, engineering standards, and company guidelines.
- Support piping designers and material specialists in the effective use of catalogues and specifications.
- Import, validate, and maintain supplier data while testing new components and resolving technical issues.
- Develop methodologies, work instructions, and training materials for AVEVA E3D users.
- Contribute to data quality, standardization, and continuous improvement of engineering processes.
- Collaborate with international project teams to ensure consistency across engineering projects.
What You Bring
- Secondary school or university degree in a technical field with at least 4 years of experience in piping systems, 3D design, or AVEVA E3D administration.
- Practical experience with AVEVA E3D/PDMS, including catalogue, specification, and component database management.
- Good understanding of piping systems, technical documentation, P&IDs, and isometric drawings.
- Knowledge of relevant standards such as EN 13480, ASME B31.1, and ASME B31.3.
- Strong attention to detail, systematic approach, and focus on data quality and standardization.
- English language skills at B2 level or higher.
- Experience from the energy industry, steam plants, or cogeneration projects is an advantage.
- Knowledge of scripting, databases, Navisworks, AutoCAD, or change management processes is a plus.
